Dr. Chris Loy was born in California but moved to New Jersey when he was young. He attended Springfield College, earning his Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training. He played varsity lacrosse for Springfield and earned All Academic League honors, and his team advanced to the NCAA tournament all four years. He received credentialing as a Certified Athletic Trainer and worked with high school and college athletes. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. While at Palmer, Dr. Loy was a member of the Applied Kinesiology Club, the Sacro-Occipital Technique Club, the Gonstead Club, and the Upper Cervical Club. He was also a Radiologist Tech Assistant, a Clinical Training Assistant, and was a finalist for graduation awards for representing clinical excellence, chiropractic philosophy, and service to the profession.
Dr. Loy has a passion for upper cervical care, which is a simple yet effective way to correct the cause of dysfunction while maintaining the health and well being of the patient. This approach does not focus simply on short-term pain relief, but rather looks to facilitate a lasting health impression. He is currently pursuing a post-graduate certification in Evolutionary Percussive Instrument Corrections, which is the latest advancement in upper cervical care providing a well-researched, safe, gentle, and advanced chiropractic technique.
Following graduation from Palmer, he returned north to be closer to his friends and family and to provide Chiropractic care to his clients.
